Aims and Scope
The Journal of Korean Society of Steel Construction is a representative journal of the KSSC and it has published technical papers covering a broad classification involving steel structural research and applications.
The Journal was launched in 1989, and its abbreviated title is “J Korean Soc Steel Const”. The Journal aims to reach not only researchers, but also practicing engineers, designers and fabricators who will most likely benefit from the published research results. Contributions on research findings that are suitable for practical applications are especially welcome.
The scope of the journal of the KSSC encompasses, but is not limited to, the following areas: stability, fatigue, non-linear behavior, dynamics, reliability, earthquake resistance, wind resistance, fire resistance, design codes, computer-aided analysis and design, optimization, connections, fabrications and maintenance of the building, bridge, off-shore structures, stadiums, transmission towers, marine vessels, storage tanks, pressure vessels, aerospace structures, and pipelines.
